The Albion Fire District adheres to New York State’s Freedom of Information Law, which allows the public access to certain government records.
To submit a formal FOIL request for incident reports, meeting minutes, financial documents, or other district records, please use one of the following methods:

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

By submitting this request, you acknowledge that you are requesting records pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (FOIL), Article 6 of the Public Officers Law.

An automated confirmation of submission is not an official acknowledgment under Public Officers Law §89(3)(a). The Fire District’s Records Access Officer will send a formal, written response to the email address/mailing address provided within five (5) business days of receiving your request.
This response will either grant the request, deny it, or provide an approximate date by which a final determination will be made.
The Fire District is not required to create a new record in response to a FOIL request or answer questions.
Fees for copies may apply (typically 25 cents per page, or actual cost of media). You will be notified in advance if the estimated fee exceeds an amount you specify.
DO NOT include personal, private, or sensitive data (e.g., social security numbers, medical information) within this form. If sensitive information is necessary, please contact the Records Access Officer directly.
